Unwavering spirit!!!

“A woman is the full Circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform”.
– Diane Mariechild

A women’s role can be appropriately described as ‘multi-dimensional’. A women has to be a daughter, a wife, a mother, and a professional at the same time. Women are the real architect of the Society. Well, I’m Nitisha Yadav. By profession I’m an educationalist. Currently working as a school principal at Indraprastha convent school in Delhi & chairperson of M. D. Indraprastha school, Delhi. I’m executive member of Delhi Gramin Sarvodaya Schools. I’m socially associated with women empowerment organisations.

The journey of a woman is never soothing. Her day begins with the first ray of sun. She is like a salt, whose presence can’t be felt but absence makes things tasteless. She can be a marvelous homemaker as we’ll as strong professional working woman.

As International women’s day is buzzing around the corner, women have a fierce and robust spirit, which makes them excel in their respective areas.

I would like to open up with my story of being a cancer survivor. Within one year I faced covid twice & breast cancer .With firm determination, willpower & courage I battled with these diseases. And learnt to sail my ship in disastrous waves. Being a breast cancer survivor, sharing my own experience . It’s possible not just to survive, but to thrive and to live a healthy, wonderful life again. We know that cancer isn’t all rainbows and butterflies, and once a patient enters a dark mindset, it can be hard to get out of it. But most of us have that one message of hope and inspiration that somehow manages to help bring some perspective and optimism to a situation. The silver lining in this disruption is that I did not adhere to the“dogmas of the past”. Being an educationalist, it’s quite tough for me to adapt but I learnt to sail my ship in that disastrous storm.

“The real glory is being knocked to your knees and then coming back. That’s real glory. That’s the essence of it.”

I may be broken for a while, but that’s ok. I’m working on myself, cause I’m not one to leave a mess lying around. What made me strong was despite the million things that hurt me, I spoke of nothing. Nothing but happiness.

Pain shapes a woman into a warrior. My damaged petals are what made me more beautiful than all the other flowers.

I’m full of wounds riddled with scars, but still standing. Let’s #breakthebias & introduce the new definition. Inshort, all I can say is –

“Women are warriors fighting without swords and conquering through love.”

Let go of your fears, break the chains
Let’s nothing dare stand in your way
For what you crave, fight like a knight
Time has no mercy, like a blade
Make it happen, light up the night
Future’s not given, it is made.
Greatest successes are man made
Who makes the rules, will mark her name
Stand in the spotlight not the shade
Burn for your passion, own the game.
