Normal is a setting on a washing machine

Dedication: To my sister, Julie Stott.

I’m celebrating what I have learned about myself through adversity in childhood, a successful career in education and as a hopeful survivor of cancer which has changed my world view completely. I now want to ban the word normal and empower everyone to value what is distinctive and unique in everyone.
