Forgive Yourself

I wanted to focus on self-forgiveness, for blaming ourselves for justifying and normalizing violence. I think [violence] is often happening in our society, but I think a lot of people consider it as normal, and no one is sharing it, and everyone is keeping this inside of them. I think [it is important] to name the situation (of violence) and recognize that we shouldn’t blame ourselves. Maybe, we make mistakes, but it doesn’t define us as persons. We don’t have to be punished because of our mistakes.  I wanted to recognize that I don’t have to stop loving myself because of that.
