It was just an ordinary day. My grandfather and I were walking through the town market one Thursday morning in June 1988. We got to the end of the market and I saw a group of people sharing the gospel at an open air event. At the end I came forward and a young man and I discussed the power of Jesus. He offered me the gift of eternity via the holy spirit. I read the sinners prayer, they were not my words but I meant them with all my heart genuinely. I asked Jesus into my life to take over my self centered ways. After I finished I was on such a spiritual high that I couldn’t keep still, I left my poor grandfather behind but I eventually stopped for him. It was such a profound effect that changed my way of life and my thinking and my outlook on life. It can happen to you, be inspired. God bless you all reading this.
